I don’t know... maybe you’re right. Lucian said that Viktor feared a union of the bloodlines, but he didn’t say why. This video makes it look like Viktor is disgusted by a blending of the bloodlines, but not fearful of it per se.

Viktor surely believed that vampires were superior to the other species, but I don’t know that there was any religious component to his beliefs. Maybe I missed something though.

I think Victor used Lucian to control the Lycans, he killed Sonja Lucian then turned the Lycans on him. I think Victor feared a Lycan with Vampire Abilities. Michael and Lycans can walk in sunlight and kill Vampires as they are sleeping. That's why they needed Lycan Guards.

If they killed Michael and Eve I am done with this franchise.

Everybody might be done with the franchise after this... I wouldn’t be surprised if there was no 6th film or TV series.

Yeah, I hadn’t thought of the prospect of a hybrid who wasn’t 100% loyal to the vampires. Maybe that’s what Viktor was afraid of. He would lose his slaves and be replaced as the preeminent immortal if a hybrid was born and decided to take over.

Has anyone seen Dracula Untold? That movie is awesome. I read ut was talk about a sequel or a franchise. I saw Vampire Academy was awesome in a another way.

I saw Dracula Untold. It could have been better, but I liked it well enough. I haven’t seen Vampire Academy.
