I've spent an ungodly amount of time the last couple of months writing a fanfic with at least 3 tabs of the Underworld wiki opened as I cross-referenced the lore posted here, with my multiple viewings of the movies and skims of the books (haven't gotten to the graphic novels yet, though ;) ).
I wanted to thank you guys for so many pages. It helped a lot with time and bloodlines. Here's a link to my FF if anyone's interested.
Synopsis: Post-Revelation, Pre-Awakening. Care for movie canon. Ashley, sired in Amelia's 4th reign, struggles to survive in a world being reclaimed by humanity. As one of the few daywalkers blessed by Alexander Corvinus, Ashley's loyalties and limits are tested by all sides. Major lore characters mentioned, not featured. OCxOC. M for gore, violence, themes, brief adult mentions.

<p>In the 5th century AD, the Magyars weren't even in Hungary, but lived as nomads on the steppes. They arrived in Hungary around 895 AD. So what the heck is with Underworld calling Alexander Corvinus a Hungarian Warlord??
</p><p>Mattias Corvinus - presumably where they got the surname inspiration, was around in the 1400s and was a King of Hungary, and a contemporary of Vlad III Tepes - the Impaler, Dracul. But that's 900 years later than the Alexander/William/Marcus events.
</p><p>I'm down with messing with history to make a story, but hey... putting Hungarians in Hungary 400 years early makes it all pretty stupid.

<p>When Alexander asked, "The innocent who witnessed, they've been sienced?" Samuel the Cleaner replied, "But otherwise unharmed, as ordered."
</p><p>What does "silenced" mean? Does it mean that the cleaners eliminated the evidence of vampires and lycans by KILLING those who witnessed? If so, then why did he say "but otherwise unharmed"? Later in the film, we do see the cleaners blow up and kill all those policemen who saw the dead lycan in the vampire safehouse. So here "silenced" has to mean "killed", right?
</p><p>I can understand the sentence "He's slightly bruised but otherwise unharmed" (Apart from being a little bruised, he is fine.), but can't comprehend "they've been killed/eliminated, but otherwise unharmed".
