Hi!
I only like the first movie because the rest was the same. Selene got hunted and the lycans is still "the bad guys" even if the vampire coven members is the real bad guys.
I think the the Underworld series did fall because it was to much "Matrix" and "Sci-Fi". Here is what I think Underworld should be like, and I hope that the authors of Underworld will see this:
1. Selene/other vampiers should have longer theeth.
2. Selene/other vampiers should have the ability to extend their theeth
3. All vampiers should see humans as much enemy as lycans. Or even more. Because humans is the reason why lycans are allowed to live in human society and reproduce their species. That's really makes the vampiers angry at the humans.
4. Selene/other vampiers should have the ability to climb walls and "Hssss" with their mouth at humans/lycans.
5. Selene should be evil(in the point of humans view) and only works for the vampire coven. That means she hunting humans as much as lycans. Somethings for just feeding or just killing for knowing the truth about the vampiers.
6. Selene/other vampiers should have the ability to communicate with bats through blood memories. Almost the same way lycans can communicate with dogs just by get close to them and look into their eyes.
7. The bats can transport selene/other vampiers by lifting the up into a "cloud of bats"
8. Selene and older strong vampiers should have the ability to close doors, open windows and move small things like knife, gun or other lightweight just by snap with their fingers. Just like the old Dracula movies.
9. The vampires goal is to take over the world and slave the humans and kill all lycans. The same goal are for the lycans too. Slave the humans and kill all vampires.
10. The underworld series should have different species of vampires too. South vampires, north vampires, east vampires and west vampries. They all look different and lots of vampires look like real cave vampires with bat ears and nose.
11. The vampires should talk their own language but the lycans is using human language.
Here is a short little story I want to share to the authors:
Selene has finally got peace with the coven who order to kill her. She has been proven innocent in the vampire trail. Now she can continue to protect her vampire species and her new coven to gain power, more power than ever before.
The vampire culture is very different from human culture. A vampire can be married to lots of other vampires, but a marrige is not a realationship, it's a ownership. The vampire who marrie to another vampire, got owned by that vampire. Selene is married to Georg Van Lutz, past prince of Vampires Empire of 19th, which is located in eastern Germany and western Poland. Selene is owned by Lutz against her will, but there is not so much she can do about it because Georg Van Lutz is a vampire prince and has the right to select any female vampire he want. The same right Selene have to select the low rank male vampire she want. The higher rank, the more rights the vamprire has.
Anyway! The coven has a regent named Le Stat, a very gready and reminds of Kraven. He ruled the coven when the elders was not home. The vampire coven is located at Paris. At the year 1914, German solders was taking cover from the vinter inside the vampire house. The solders thougth it was abounded house, but when they step into the house and walks into the great hall, the saw some vampire maids hiding behind the piano. The vampire acting like they were scared of the solders, but instead, the solders was expecting. The vampires offer the solder shelter and they was allowed to stay how long time they want. The was also allowed to call their troops to the house.
The vampire house was almost empty of food so they had to kill the soldiers and drain them of blood. When the solders was going to sleep one by one got killed by the vampires. The rest of the solders was looking for the missing solders. They split up and one solder was walking into the library and found a big great map. He stole it beacuse it looks so beautiful. A vampire saw him stole the map and tries to attack him. Then the solder found out that it was deamons(the vampire was very unknow at this time) living in the house. The solder shoot at the vampire and the vampire fell, but stand up quickly.
The solder ran out from the library and meet the other solders. The rest of the solders where dead, lets got out of here, the shouted. The solders ran out from the house, but the vampires was very quick to attack them. The soldier who got the map escapted from the vampire house. The rest died or become a vampire to reveal the name of the soldier who escaped.
The solder who escaped took the ship to America and changed ID/name/etc just to hide from Le Stat. The solder was the only human in America who knew that vampires exist. The map he stolen was a map to a tomb where the first and cleasest vampire virus of is laying barried inside a bottle. The virus is the key to eternal life and the vampires are hiding it from the humans. If the humans can get their hands of it, the vampires cannot slave the humans and humans might find a cure for the vampires. Also the virus can be a cure for the lycans too. The cleanest virus source is the most dangerous weapon. Anyone who can master the virus, can find the answers for every biological question.
The soldier knew that the map/virus need to be hidden from the Cleaners, human controlled special force to protect the humans from lycans/vampires. So the solder when to the tomb and took the virus.
Year 2018.
The solder who was over 110 years old and born at 19th, got diagnosed with cancer at the hospital. The soldier had tried to prevent aging by modify the virus and inject it self with the virus. But one day, he knew that he should die. When the hospital found it that he was the last survived from 19th, the media shouted his name/ID as a world news. All his past was on the front page. The solider has hide from the agency with false name/ID and had his own laboratory in the basement.
The solder took the hospital phone to call his past neigbour and wanted to talk. His neigbour was named Jonathan Keen and was a Dr. in biology at New York University. Keen showed up at the hosptial and looked at the old man (the german solder) at the hospital who laying in the hospital bed.
The old man explain the whole truth about the vampires, but Dr Keen didn't belive him because the old man was a very crusty and gready man i Dr. Keens younger days. But the old man gave him a code to a safe bank folder where he had hide the non finished results of a cure for all world problems. The old man said to Dr. Keen that he should not speak to anyone about this, because then he would get humans, vampires and lycans after him.
When Dr Keen walks out from the room where the old man was living, Dr. Keen hits Le Stats shouder by accident.
- Oh, Excuse me sir. Said Dr. Keen
- It's Ok, Le Stat replied with a calm smile.
Dr. Keen could see that long man with long black coat walks into the same room where the old man was laying in the bed.
When the Le Stat saw the old man laying in the bed. The old man said
- What took you so long?
Le Stat said that if he don't give the map back and explain where the virus are, Le Stat is going to kill him. Le Stat is very impulsive vampire and can get angry quick. But his anger makes him stupid too.
- If you kill me, you would not get any answer at all, the old man replied.
Le Stat pointed a gun at the old man and was very close to pull the trigger, but Le Stat thinked an extra time. Le Stat put down his gun and said:
- No. You dererve pain until death
Then Le Stat leaved the room.
The Lycans has been stalking Dr. Keen for weeks and then the kindnaping him. One of the deathdealers saw that and called for backup. Selene was included in the backup. The lycans tried to torture Dr Keen but become stopped by Selene. Selene wonders why the Lycans have capture a human. Perhaps he have some information that should not reach the vampires. Selene rescue Dr Keen.
- Thank you. We need to call the cops. Said Dr Keen to Selene.
Selene looked at Dr. Keen and took his arm and walk out from where the lycan had it's territorium.
- Hey! What are you doing!
- Shut up. You comming with us! Selene shouted
Selene force Dr Keen into the back seat of the car with other vampire deathdealers.
- Can you tell me what the fuck is going on??? Dr. Keen asking them all
- You have attracted an attention that sticks in our eyes. Selene replied.
Dr. Keen become imprisoned in the vampires house dungeon and he just waiting for the nex torture. Meanwhile the prince Georg Van Lutz died in a lycan attack and that's makes Selene unmarrid and free. Le Stat order a new marriage for Selene and threading Selene that if she not say yes, she will loose her rank and become a low rank maiden.
Selene new only a low rank vampire who could say yes to her - Dr. Keen. But Selene need to bite him first. But that would not stop Le Stat taking away Selene's right. Selene need to murder Le Stat and she know exactly how to do.
Once Selene got her hands on Dr. Keen, Selene started a new journy in her life where Selene starting a opposition inside the vampire house, which cause internal conflicts between vampires and vampires.
Selene loose the battle because her opposition was to weak. Selene got also become imprisoned by the vampire Elders, and spending her time together with the new biten Dr. Keen.
Now Dr. Keen and Selene need to work togheter to get out of this mess. Once the situation is over, Dr Keen will be forced back to the vampire house and marry Selene, Selene thougth. Then Selene can continue her life as it should be - without Le Stat.
