for "No Exit (Underworld Video Mix)" by Blondie feat. Coolio, Mobb Deep & the Wu-Tang Clan fights an eternal war online, OCTOBER 22!
But I wonder about Semira. On the infobox.
"Death Dealer (formerly)(Unconfirmed but likely)" I am not recalling her being that.
The status did say "Presumed Deceased" personally, everything she did while, trying to kill Selene and David.
I feel that could be far fetched to assumed David or Selene would risk by giving her second chance to kill them.
Honestly, that would be a nice gesture, if the Nordic Coven did invite Detective Sebastian to come and visit.
So what do you think would be appropriate by ending the Underworld Franchise as a quadrilogy. By combining Awakening / Blood Wars.
So I have been looking at the Timeline and some things just don't add up at all.
Selene was born around the late 1300s therefore she would be around 600+ years old by time of the films. However in Blood Wars she states repeatedly she is 1000 years old which would mean that Blood Wars takes place nearly 400 years after Awakening which is utterly unrealistic as the movie does not feel very futuristic at all.
Underworld Endless War Part 1 states that Viktor is hibernating by the time of 1890. However if every Elder rules for 100 years and by 2003 Amelia is the ruling Elder (and Marcus would rule from 2003 - 2103) this means that by 1890 Viktor should still be the ruling Elder and not go to sleep until 1900-1903
Endless War Part 2 states it takes place "almost 70 years" after Part 1 when in facts its been 77 years (1890 - 1967)
This is a massive error: Endless War Part 3 states that Selene and Michael were in Paris in 2012. This is utterly impossible as they were captured by Antigen in 2004 and Eve was already 7-8 years old by 2012. And Selene did not escape Antigen until 2015
When exactly does Blood Wars take place ? Usually I would say just about 5 years after Awakening or so (especially since Thomas and Semira are talking about the Western Coven destruction as it were only recently) but Selene keeps saying she is 1000 years old which would place this film almost 400 years after the last film. Which would make no sense at all and it has been repeatedly stated in Underworld, Evolution and Awakening that Selene was a Death Dealer for 600 years not 1000.
I’ve noticed that the US/UK Blu-ray version contains several scenes different from the theatrical cut (I saw in Australian cinemas and on French/Japanese/Italian Blu-ray).
Therefore, I’ve come to the conclusion that there are 2 versions of the film around the globe! Fans in the UK/US actually saw a different version of Blood Wars from what the rest of the world did!
Here are a few differences between the UK Blu-ray and the theatrical version I saw in the cinema.
NO. 1: Scream
In the opening fight scene, Selene is being hunted and trapped in a tunnel.
In the UK Blu-ray version, Selene screams, LEAVE ME ALONE!
Instead of saying PUT HER DOWN!, one of the lycans replies, “Too late for that. You’re coming with us.”
NO. 2: Selene VS Gregor
Gregor: Marius will find you.
Selene shoots Gregor in his feet.
Selene: Do you UNDERSTAND your message?
In the UK Blu-ray version, Selene’s voice has been redubbed. It sounds different from the theatrical cut. The focus is on the word “understand”.
NO. 3: David’s extra line
In the theatrical cut, we hear this dialogue.
David: What is it? Have you seen this before?
Selene: No, but we need to get it out. Let’s go.
In the UK Blu-ray version, we hear more from David.
David: What is it? Have you seen this before?
Selene: No, but we need to get it out.
David: I think I’m gonna need your help.
Selene: Let’s go.
NO. 4: Thomas VS The Council scene
In the theatrical cut, we hear this:
Cassius: Shame on you, sir! I will not hear her name spoken again.
Semira: Cassius, I share your outrage. (To Thomas) Whatever has possessed you?
Thomas (looks contemptuously at Semira and speaks to Cassius): If we don’t act decisively, the war will be at your gate within a fortnight.
In the UK Blu-ray version, we don’t hear Semira. The scene directly cuts to Thomas’ response to Cassius.
Cassius: Shame on you, sir! I will not hear her name spoken again.
Thomas: If we don’t act decisively, the war will be at your gate within a fortnight.
NO. 5: Eve’s voice
In the theatrical cut, when David and Selene are recharging their weapons in a safe house, Selene finds a lock of Eve’s hair. Selene is saddened when she remembers Eve.
In the UK Blu-ray version, we do not only see this, but also hear Eve’s voice.
Eve: I leave you this of me... but only this. You’re not my mother.
NO. 6: Wintergarden soiree
In the theatrical cut, Semira approaches David. We hear this dialogue.
David: It’s good to be offered sanctuary, Semira. Thank you.
Semira: It will be entirely my pleasure. Tell me, is it true that her blood brought you back to life?
In the UK Blu-ray version, the dialogue is shorter.
David: It’s good of you to welcome us. Thank you.
Semira: Tell me, is it true that her blood brought you back to life?
NO. 7: Machina Sanguinem Exhauri
When Thomas and David enter Semira’s secret chamber and find Selene being drained of her blood, we hear this dialogue.
David: What the hell have they done to her?
Thomas: Machina Sanguinem Exhauri. Bloodletting. Semira wants Selene’s most precious asset.
In the UK Blu-ray version, we get a close up shot of Thomas’ worried expression when he says “BLOODLETTING”.
NO. 8: Selene’s death scene
In the theatrical cut, we get a close up shot of Selene looking towards the water and saying her last words, “WATER IS THE PATH.” Then she commits suicide by sliding under the ice into the water. Gradually, her fiercely blue vampire eyes turn black.
In the UK Blu-ray version, we DO NOT get a close up shot of Selene’s face NOR hear her say WATER IS THE PATH. Before she commits suicide, her last words are, “Michael, find Eve.” As her blue eyes turn black, there are a few shots of the moon. We also hear a wolf howling to the moon, like a requiem for Selene.
NO. 9: Funeral
In the theatrical cut, after Semira consumes Selene’s blood and utters HOW FASCINATING, the scene cuts back to the Nordic Coven and we hear Lena say THE WATER IS THE PATH. David and Lena lower Selene’s body into the water.
In the UK Blu-ray version, we do not hear Lena. There is a longer shot of Selene’s body descending into the water.
NO. 10: Climactic battle
In the theatrical cut, Marius searches for Selene in the armory of the Eastern Coven. Finally, Selene shows up, and Marius lycan-style charges towards Selene.
In the UK Blu-ray version, when Selene appears, we hear her say, “Looking for someone?”
So far I’ve only found these differences. There may be more, but I’m not sure.
Watching Blood Wars on Blu-ray and being able to find so many differences has been a remarkable experience. I enjoy Blood Wars more and more! EPIC!
I’m praying that one day SONY will release director’s cut for Underworld 2-5.
Conversation continued from part 1 and part 2, broken up to keep the pages from getting ridiculously long.

To me it's another example of Viktor's power gain, because he felt if others found out Marcus is the real one, they'd worship him instead
At the end of Blood Wars they show Selene sitting on the ice where she [spoiler] fell through into the frozen lake and had her first vampire death of sorts. As she sits there a young girl walks towards her and Selene says "There is no end, there is only the coming". So does anyone have any clues about what this means? It sounds obviously like something is coming? Then again is she just talking about how there is no death for them because she has gone into the next world and seen what is there? Maybe she is just having a vision of what lies on the other side?
Also, is it just me or does this make anyone else think of norse mythology and valhala? Warriors rising from the dead and the girl chanting. They come back faster than before and have all those religious tattoos.
Conversation continued from here, where we talk about whether Michael survived the fifth film, and how he might come back.
I noticed this odd post from the official Underworld Twitter account a while ago:
There are three possible selections in the poll, and all of them say Michael. So is that a hint, or are they just messing with fans?
The lycans were blasting holes in the walls and windows to let sunlight in, so it's daytime. How do the nordic vampires travel in the sunlight? They even come in through the front door, where an earlier shot establishes there is defintely sunlight. Is the answer just bad writing or am I missing something.
I guess I'll call this part 5, since it's continued from these four threads:
where we talk about Underworld: Blood Wars, mostly. The thread may contain spoilers.
India Eisley is Eve.
This is one thing I can'tell entirely wrap my head around. Vampires have spent centuries committing genocide against the lycans, with Selena happily leading the charge because the lycans ( In reality Victor ) slaughtered her family. However now that humans have gotten in on the action, the vampire become the sympathetic victims after what, getting a few decades of their own medicine?
Personally i'very always felt more for the lycans, and I'm not overly against lycans villains, but ever since Lucian there hasn't been one lycans hero character. At first this series had heroes on both sides, but these recent films paint it more like star wars the empire vs the rebels.
