I haven't been inactive, but our bureaucrat has been inactive for well over 60 days, and you're aiming for bureaucrat, so I think it should be fine.

If they kick it back for that reason, maybe I can put in an adoption request next time, and then just make you a bureaucrat myself.

As far as I know, the way to add new admins is to adopt the wiki as a bureaucrat. It looks like we should submit at request at community:Adoption:TV-Movie requests. They might want you to submit it yourself--I don't know if they'd want me to submit a request on your behalf.

If you link to this discussion in the request, Wikia will be able to see that we tried to get community input, and that I'm OK with you adopting the wiki. Since I'm the only recently active admin, that's hopefully enough.

Now that I think about it, I meant to add a page on the Underworld card game cards. I took screenshots of each one before that game died. They're still on my phone. I'm not sure if that actually needs a page though. Maybe just an image category.

Yeah, if that would help, it sounds good to me. We just need someone with more permissions than I have, because I can't add admins here.

I'm thinking of leaving this thread highlighted for a week, and then we can go to Wikia and see if they're willing to give us another bureaucrat or two.

New staff members?

We could add a new page on the 10 billionth unnamed minor character, but it doesn't seem worthwhile. The trouble is, if I leave the wiki, there won't be any administrators here at all, and there's nothing I can do about that unless Wikia gives us a new bureaucrat.

That's true, yeah. There just aren't many new pages to add at this point. We have pages on virtually every minor character in the entire series already. Hopefully, Wikia will be OK with that.

New bureaucrat?

Longtime members of this wiki know AlessaGillespie. She's contributed a lot to this site and has been our only bureaucrat for almost a decade now, but she hasn't edited in almost two years.

I've been the only active administrator here in the last few months, but regulars here know that I'm not very active either. I was thinking of going through the Wikia adoption process to get us a new bureaucrat. What do you think?

community:Adoption:Requests says that the person adopting has to have at least one created page, but Special:NewPages lists nothing at all on this wiki, I guess because none of us have created a new page in a long time. I don't know if Wikia will see that as a problem.
We would need to decide who should be the new bureaucrats. I was thinking of Andrewh7 and Hulk10.

Is that the 2018 equivalent of direct-to-video? I'd probably get Netflix just so I could watch that. I don't have particularly high hopes for the series anymore, but I feel like I'm invested so I should see where the story goes, assuming they release anything new.

I don't think Marius was thorough enough or had enough foresight to take any steps to destroy Michael's body after he thought he was dead. He drained Michael before he knew whether he would need more of his blood in the future, and he let Selene sink under the ice when she looked dead rather than trying to fish her out and impale her or something.

I hadn't thought of that. Could that be why Michael revived while unattended in Evolution? He must have had very little blood in his body after being impaled, but if he was slowly generating more blood, it was only a matter of time before he got up again after being exsanguinated.

While Michael was hung upside down in Blood Wars, I suppose any blood he generated would just drain out, but if someone cut him down so that he was horizontal later, without destroying his body, then I would expect him to recover on his own after a while.

It's been quite a while since I've seen Evolution, but I can understand why Alexander would try to pin some of the blame on Selene. He just spent at least 600 years trying to cover for his children. Then Selene came along, practically a baby compared to him, telling him that he had spent the better part of a millennium in vain. I'd resist someone telling me that, even if I knew that they were 100% right. It's hard to look back on your life and see that you spent it wrong. Maybe that's why he killed himself after the conversation with Selene. He knew that she was right, and he felt like it was too late for him to change.
