<p>The theatrical cut of Underworld is one of my favorite films ever and it was never available on regular Bluray. When I found out it would be on UHD (despite my not currently having or wanting that equipment, I knew I'd eventually have it) I was relieved. Now, I'm pissed they messed with it.

<p>Longtime members of this wiki know AlessaGillespie. She's contributed a lot to this site and has been our only bureaucrat for almost a decade now, but she hasn't edited in almost two years.
</p><p>I've been the only active administrator here in the last few months, but regulars here know that I'm not very active either. I was thinking of going through the Wikia adoption process to get us a new bureaucrat. What do you think?

- community:Adoption:Requests says that the person adopting has to have at least one created page, but Special:NewPages lists nothing at all on this wiki, I guess because none of us have created a new page in a long time. I don't know if Wikia will see that as a problem.
- We would need to decide who should be the new bureaucrats. I was thinking of Andrewh7 and Hulk10.

<p>I’ve noticed that the US/UK Blu-ray version contains several scenes different from the theatrical cut (I saw in Australian cinemas and on French/Japanese/Italian Blu-ray).
</p><p>Therefore, I’ve come to the conclusion that there are 2 versions of the film around the globe! Fans in the UK/US actually saw a different version of Blood Wars from what the rest of the world did!
</p><p>Here are a few differences between the UK Blu-ray and the theatrical version I saw in the cinema.
</p><p>
NO. 1: Scream </p><p>In the opening fight scene, Selene is being hunted and trapped in a tunnel. </p><p>
</p><p>In the UK Blu-ray version, Selene screams, LEAVE ME ALONE! </p><p>Instead of saying PUT HER DOWN!, one of the lycans replies, “Too late for that. You’re coming with us.” </p><p>
</p><p>NO. 2: Selene VS Gregor </p><p>Gregor: Marius will find you. </p><p>Selene shoots Gregor in his feet. </p><p>Selene: Do you UNDERSTAND your message? </p><p>
</p><p>In the UK Blu-ray version, Selene’s voice has been redubbed. It sounds different from the theatrical cut. The focus is on the word “understand”. </p><p>
</p><p>NO. 3: David’s extra line </p><p>In the theatrical cut, we hear this dialogue. </p><p>
</p><p>David: What is it? Have you seen this before? </p><p>Selene: No, but we need to get it out. Let’s go. </p><p>
</p><p>In the UK Blu-ray version, we hear more from David. </p><p>David: What is it? Have you seen this before? </p><p>Selene: No, but we need to get it out. </p><p>David: I think I’m gonna need your help. </p><p>Selene: Let’s go. </p><p>

</p><p>In the UK Blu-ray version, we don’t hear Semira. The scene directly cuts to Thomas’ response to Cassius. </p><p>Cassius: Shame on you, sir! I will not hear her name spoken again. </p><p>Thomas: If we don’t act decisively, the war will be at your gate within a fortnight. </p><p>
</p><p>NO. 5: Eve’s voice </p><p>In the theatrical cut, when David and Selene are recharging their weapons in a safe house, Selene finds a lock of Eve’s hair. Selene is saddened when she remembers Eve. </p><p>
</p><p>In the UK Blu-ray version, we do not only see this, but also hear Eve’s voice. </p><p>Eve: I leave you this of me... but only this. You’re not my mother. </p><p>
</p><p>NO. 6: Wintergarden soiree </p><p>In the theatrical cut, Semira approaches David. We hear this dialogue. </p><p>David: It’s good to be offered sanctuary, Semira. Thank you. </p><p>Semira: It will be entirely my pleasure. Tell me, is it true that her blood brought you back to life? </p><p>
</p><p>In the UK Blu-ray version, the dialogue is shorter. </p><p>David: It’s good of you to welcome us. Thank you. </p><p>Semira: Tell me, is it true that her blood brought you back to life? </p><p>
</p><p>NO. 7: Machina Sanguinem Exhauri </p><p>When Thomas and David enter Semira’s secret chamber and find Selene being drained of her blood, we hear this dialogue. </p><p>
</p><p>David: What the hell have they done to her? </p><p>Thomas: Machina Sanguinem Exhauri. Bloodletting. Semira wants Selene’s most precious asset. </p><p>
</p><p>In the UK Blu-ray version, we get a close up shot of Thomas’ worried expression when he says “BLOODLETTING”. </p><p>
</p><p>NO. 8: Selene’s death scene </p><p>In the theatrical cut, we get a close up shot of Selene looking towards the water and saying her last words, “WATER IS THE PATH.” Then she commits suicide by sliding under the ice into the water. Gradually, her fiercely blue vampire eyes turn black. </p><p>
</p><p>In the UK Blu-ray version, we DO NOT get a close up shot of Selene’s face NOR hear her say WATER IS THE PATH. Before she commits suicide, her last words are, “Michael, find Eve.” As her blue eyes turn black, there are a few shots of the moon. We also hear a wolf howling to the moon, like a requiem for Selene. </p><p>
</p><p>NO. 9: Funeral </p><p>In the theatrical cut, after Semira consumes Selene’s blood and utters HOW FASCINATING, the scene cuts back to the Nordic Coven and we hear Lena say THE WATER IS THE PATH. David and Lena lower Selene’s body into the water. </p><p>
</p><p>In the UK Blu-ray version, we do not hear Lena. There is a longer shot of Selene’s body descending into the water. </p><p>
</p><p>NO. 10: Climactic battle </p><p>In the theatrical cut, Marius searches for Selene in the armory of the Eastern Coven. Finally, Selene shows up, and Marius lycan-style charges towards Selene. </p><p>
</p><p>In the UK Blu-ray version, when Selene appears, we hear her say, “Looking for someone?” </p><p>
</p><p>So far I’ve only found these differences. There may be more, but I’m not sure. </p><p>
</p><p>Watching Blood Wars on Blu-ray and being able to find so many differences has been a remarkable experience. I enjoy Blood Wars more and more! EPIC! </p><p>

<p>I just replaced all of the infoboxes on the wiki with the new portable infoboxes. They should look much better on mobile browsers, and not all that different on desktop browsers. If you notice any problems or want a different styling, let me know.
