I would've said that the angle was wrong, the blade appears to be emerging from his skull rather than the back of his neck; Viktor's just very lucky that the blade didn't damage (or at least didn't irreparably damage) the medulla as that would have probably the same effect as severing the spinal cord as their part of the same system.

Seems I have found something we can both agree on. That a stab like that could have damaged Viktor's spinal cord or medulla. Though I still think Michael could survive having his throat cut, as his healing ability seems to be similar, if not outright identical to Wolverines.

Could have, but didn't (because he's annoyingly lucky) :P
I don't think that we can really compare Michael and Wolverine; if nothing else because Wolverine's mutation/healing ability was a natural occurance whereas Michael's healing ability was a result of two viruses, rather than being an trait that he already possessed.

Hulk's healing ability is the result of gamma mutation. So I maintain its possible. (and what do you mean by annoyingly lucky >:()

heheheheh, that would be hilarious.

We still can't compare Hulk and Michael because one mutation comes from a biological source and the other doesn't.
I meant that Viktor is lucky that Lucian's blow landed exactly where it did, that is to say in the exact right place for him to survive, rather than say an inch further up/in whatever direction his medulla is in regards to the blade. Annoying because although Viktor is very well written and very well played I still can't bring myself to like the actual character :/

Ah.. I see. I personally think one can compare the two but that's how I feel, you obviously feel differently. But then again my brain is wired differently than most.
Why did we never see 'white eyed' Selene in the post- Evolution movies? Just another thing they forgot? I thought it was sort of cool in a cartoon/anime kind of way. She has the regular blue eyes when going into vampire mode if you will. And after getting Alexander's blood, that scene where she pushed Marcus into the blades, it seems like she had now super vampire mode if push comes to shove. Why didn't we see that for example in her fight with Quint?
