The Norinco Type 84 is a weapon that appears in Underworld: Evolution. The Chinese Norinco Type 84 unfolder assault rifle appears to be the standard weaponry of police officers in Evolution.

These weapons appear in the hands of a small group of police officers at a local tavern. Upon seeing Michael Corvin acting strangely, followed by a police report of Michael's involvement in a subway shooting the previous night, the officers pull out Norincos and aim the weapons at Michael. After it becomes clear that Michael is not human, they give chase into the nearby woods, where they shoot him several times.
The officers also fire at Selene, a Vampire Death Dealer who comes to Michael's aid.
