Underworld is a 384-page novelization of the movie of the same name written by Greg Cox and released by Pocket Star on September 1, 2003. The book contains scenes that were changed during filming or which were never included at all.
Unfilmed scenes[]
Scenes in the Underworld novel not seen in the movie include:
- Kraven has his maids put his pants on for him while they giggle ecstatically.
- Erika is shown serving drinks to other Vampires.
- As well as seeing the whipping of Lucian and the execution of Sonja, Michael Corvin also sees a memory of Lucian and Sonja planning to escape before Viktor learns of their affair, as well as Lucian fleeing into to the woods surrounding Castle Corvinus.
- Selene breaks her leg while trying to escape from a Lycan in the Lycan Den, before she and Michael cross paths with Kraven.
