Weapons of various kinds are seen throughout Underworld: Blood Wars, being used by various characters. Most weapons are either made of silver, or are loaded with silver bullets, due to the extreme allergy to silver exhibited by Lycans. Ultraviolet ammunition is used by the Lycans to take advantage of the Vampires’ allergy to sunlight.

Bladed Weapons[]
Selene and Lena, along with a number of other members of the Nordic Coven, appear to be wielding some type of sword, possibly either longswords or Arming swords.
David wields a silver plated longsword or bastard sword that was crafted by his father Thomas, who intended David to use it when he was old enough. It is designed to be especially effective against Lycans. Thomas himself wields a thin sword, the blade of which is usually concealed within his cane.
Semira has been seen wielding three Rapiers, two of which were generic instruments that she pulled off of the whichever wall display happened to be the closest at the time, and a third that appears to be her own rapier. She is also been seen wielding a halberd in a fight against David and a dagger kept concealed in her gown that she used to kill Thomas; in both cases she was dual wielding the appropriate weapon with a sword.
Varga can be seen wielding what appears to be either a short sword that bears some resemblance to a Roman Gladius or a type of dagger. He also attacked Selene with a knife coated in Nightshade, which is poisonous to Vampires.
Numerous katanas, daggers, and other bladed weapons can be seen both on the walls of the castle/mansion occupied by the Vampire Coven and in their armoury.

Varga kills several Death Dealer recruits with Ultraviolet ammunition.
The Self-propelling bullet makes its first appearance in Blood Wars, being used by the Lycans against the Vampires.
